Who runs DSPetSitting?

Dave & Shelly — a two-person home team in Lincoln, with resident Lab Ember and resident cat Pepper (who thinks he's a dog).

Where do you serve?

Lincoln, Nebraska — 68516 area.

Do you have outdoor kennels?

No. Care is indoor home boarding and daycare.

How many dogs do you take?

A small home pack only — we leave room so every dog (including Ember) gets calm, personal attention.

Are meet 'n greets required?

No — they're optional. Meet 'n greets are a free courtesy for our clients and their pets (never charged). Not everyone gets along, but we bet we'll get along just fine. Let's schedule one and get to know each other and our furry loved ones a bit better.

How do drop-off and pick-up times work?

We use short transition windows — 30 minutes by default— so every family gets a calm, predictable handoff (for example, arrive 4:00–4:30 PM). That's tighter than loose multi-hour ranges. If you need a longer window, tell us why when you book — we're glad to work with you. Travel delays happen; we'll help when they do.

Will I get photo updates?

Yes — complimentary photo updates are available during active bookings for household members who opt in. We skip pick-up day so Dave & Shelly can focus on a smooth handoff.
