Breed & safety policy. For the safety of humans and pets — and because insurance is a primary factor — we cannot accept pets or breeds known for aggression (including biting, attacking, menacing, or excessive growling). We do not accept Pit Bulls, Pit mixes, American/English Bulldogs, Staffordshire types, Presa Canario, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Cane Corso, Tosa Inu, wolf hybrids, Rottweilers, Akitas, or Chow Chows (including mixes of these).

Emergency veterinary care

You agree we may obtain veterinary care at our discretion and you will pay all related expenses in full while your pet is in our care. We will do everything in our power to contact you; however, we reserve the right to respond rapidly and place the pet's well-being ahead of reaching you if delay would cause suffering. In an extreme emergency we go directly to the emergency vet and contact you ASAP. See Emergency veterinary authorization.
